Also I’m 4th passenger in the whole queue. There are passengers from 5 carriages behind me, queue snaking along the platform
Why not do it carriage by carriage? Then the length of time everyone would be out of the carriages would be reduced

There are two TCDD dudes prowling, three customs dudes that swept the train now also now out on the platform smoking, and two border control dudes also still smoking. We’ve all been off 25 minutes.
Some passengers are getting agitated now, asking what’s going on.

What are they going to get us to do with those bags once they’ve checked our passports?
Check them all? If so that’ll take an age
Check nothing? Well then why did we carry them off?
