How do you manage your backups?

At home, all my important files (documents, photos, music, memories...) are stored on a Nextcloud instance. A snapshot of the VM is made automatically by Proxmox every day at 03:00; I always keep the last two backups. While the VMs are stored on 2 hard disks mounted in RAID1, all snapshots are stored on a different hard disk. But what happens if something goes wrong physically?

That's why we're thinking of teaming up with @tiesselune to create an inter-house backup system ️ using kopia He would allow me to use free space on his machine at home to store encrypted backups of my data, and I would allow him to do the same
