SongADay Mann Creative Commons thread
Hello. I hope I'm not intruding. I'm a user from mastodon.social who would like to ask/know if it's ok if I start a "Jonathan Mann" Song A Day Creative Commons thread.
The thread will only include songs of his that belong to his "Song A Day" project but that are also all Creative Commons Attribution 3.0.
more in part 2(I'm limited to 500 chars on mastodon.social where I'm posting from)

1️⃣
"Long Story Short (I Made Steve Jobs Dance) | Song A Day #3919"2️⃣
"I Miss Steve Jobs (Song A Day #1710)"3️⃣
"Just Want To Type A Ducking Word (WWDC23 recap) | Song A Day #5269"The "FediVideo" hashtag I use for all videos that are hosted in the fediverse(ActivityPub only).
Due to earlier problems I have to copy video link but it's ok.

This is a test post and it is also a reply to the latest post I made with the 3 videos.
I'm not doing the
@ general-discussion @ community.nodebb.org mention in this post as I was adviced to do.
Instead I'm going to use this as a reply test to use in another post to prove a point.
If this actually posts that's great news(and will prove my point wrong, making someone else's point correct) but according to my testing so far my experience says it won't work as expected...

We concluded that for practical reasons I'd need to mention the "general-discussion" @ community.nodebb.org (so I'll do that)
unless someone was following me on mastodon.social.
The theory is this:
If nobody follows me from here(community.nodebb.org) then my messages won't appear here because nobody on community.nodebb.org asked for them. To me this makes sense.
Exactly how it works in detail though, I don't know.

@shoppingtonz@mastodon.social because the default distribution behaviour is "push-based" (at least how the majority of the fediverse works at present), a follow relationship needs to exist before content is delivered to the follower... even in thread-based systems where that doesn't necessarily make sense.
