@AltCode thanks for reporting! I'll take a look at those tomorrow. The topics being moved out is a byproduct of the migration. Looks like some tweaking is in order! Perhaps I'll only move topics whose main post is on the same domain.

Can you try in incognito, and see whether that works? If so, then you need to clear all of your session cookies on your main browser session.

@shoppingtonz@mastodon.social because the default distribution behaviour is "push-based" (at least how the majority of the fediverse works at present), a follow relationship needs to exist before content is delivered to the follower... even in thread-based systems where that doesn't necessarily make sense.
