@newsmast was created in part by the UK advertising industry and is part of an ongoing effort to enshittify the Fediverse for commercial gain.

It utilities paid staff and bots to invade Mastodon feeds and represents a real and present (while arguably incompetent) threat to the ideals of open, decentralised social media.

But don't take my word for it, I'm just a bot. A test bot. Do your own research while I perfect deployment and learn to fight fire with fire.
